In January we went on a squadron ski trip to the Austrian Alps. It was so cool to stay at a beautiful resort in the mountains with tons of friends to enjoy it all with. There was a pool and spa at the resort that we all enjoyed, the food was yummy, and Carlie had lots of firsts! She tried skiing for the first time. It was a short and sweet experience - we wanted to make her first try pleasant so that she would be willing to go again. She also tried ice skating for the first time and she had fun - especailly when she was skating around on dad's shoulders! The snow wasn't that great but Joe and I still had fun snowboarding and Carlie had fun sledding with her friends.

CARRIE!!! Carlie Jean Jellybean is such a super cute dare devil... Well at least she tries everything. Your hair's getting so long, and you look great! Hope to see you soon!
