We went to Verona (the 'setting' for Romeo and Juliet) a couple of weeks ago. It was such a pretty city to explore and we all had fun! Carlie did well even though she was battling a cold she rode in the stroller, or on my back or just walked on her own when she could.
She loved the pink Vespas we spotted all around town - here she is telling Joe how she NEEDS one and how they go real fast!

Exploring the castle vecchio..........

Beautiful views from the castle walls.....

Enjoying the night life in Verona!

"Juliet's balcony"

Sleeping while sitting up and holding a balloon! Tired from a fun day of seeing the sites - we took her back to our apartment and she took a 3 hour nap!

This little horse carriage had a folk band on it that Carlie enjoyed dancing to in the square!

The legend is that this whale bone hanging over this arch will fall on the person that has never told a lie - needless to say it is still hanging there after we all walked through!!

Frescoes.....

This the square outside of the arena where they have all the operas in the summer. Even though the arena was built during Roman times the acoustics are so good that the singers don't use microphones!!

Market and frescoes in another square of the town......

Dancing....

Scarf stealer- doesn't she look so chic???

In the arena....

Hallway of the arena....

"How about this scooter dad please???"

The bridge from our apartment to the middle of town........

Still trucking that little pumpkin around.....

She always steals my robe so we got her own and she loves it.....
