On the 9th we celebrated as a family...... Carlie had a cupcake for breakfast, opened her presents from family and had her favorite dinner - Tortellini alla panna. Then on the 11th she had her friends over for a birdy party! They painted bird houses, had a pinata, ate tons of cake, played some pin the fairy on the flower, and they all went home with bird seed in their goodie bags for the bird houses.
This was her FAVORITE present a music box with a dancing ballerina from g- ma and peepa she didn't even really want to open any of her other gifts :-)!!
The cake.... she wanted a "tall cake with pink strawberry frosting and bluebirds". Maybe next year ....I'll leave the cake decorating to the professionals :-)!
Carlie requested snacks: sandwiches, veggies, fruit, popcorn, goldfish and broccoli soup too!

I LOVE her tall pink cake! Professionals could NOT have put that much love into it!
Love the cake, the outfit (Etsy?), the fun rainbow piñata, and that it was ALL about the Birthday Girl! Wish we could have been there!!!
