We went to Garmisch, Germany for Thanksgiving and stayed at the military resort, Edelweiss. Garmisch is a beautiful little German town nestled in the Bavarian mountains. We had a wonderful time! It was nice to celebrate Thanksgiving with American food (that we didn't have to prepare) at the resort and be able to enjoy some of the local flair! We ate a ton of good German food and enjoyed the many German beers - we might be about 5 pounds heavier :-) it was yummy though!! We went to the Neushwanstein Castle (Walt Disney designed Cinderella's after this real one), explored around the towns, went swimming everyday, enjoyed being together as a family and being with our friends. We also got not one but two speeding tickets in Austria - Merry Christmas to the Austrian police!!!
