Poor Joe has waited 2 LONG years for this day to come! Carlie has turned into such a little Daddy's girl - those of you know her know what a HUGE deal this is :-)! She gets sooo excited when he comes home, she shows him all the things we've been doing, requests their special games (most involve him throwing her in the air), she has even let dad give her a bath or 2. Throughout the day she will just randomly come up to me and say, "I want dada!". She tells him, "No work!" when he puts on his flight suit. She will now say "Love ya dada!" when she hears and sees the jets on base.
Joe loves this little story, the other day we were at the commissary and Carlie was helping me put the groceries on the belt. She stopped and grabbed a magazine and said,"Mommy, dada!!!" it was a picture of a hunky, shirtless guy on the Men's Health magazine. I just said "Yes, that guy does look like dada!", the man behind me was cracking up!!
The biggest thing is that when she falls she has even started wanting dad instead of mom! I can't lie I love the break and watching the 2 of them together is just priceless!

Isn't it great?? Kaia says, bath pleeeease dada", "shoulders pleeeease dada", "story pleeeease dada", and me, not wanting to interfere, gladly sits on the couch and lets them have their quality time together :) :) I am such a self-less mom!! HEHE!!!!!! Miss you guys!!!

It is fun to see Carlie so excited about her daddy! But it is equally as fun to see how truly happy it makes Joe. :-)
