Valentine's Day last year......and this year

OMG what a difference a year makes! I was looking back at this picture of Carlie from Valentine's day last year and this was her first "smile". I can hardly even tell she is smiling and then we waited like 2 more months to see her crack a smile again. But these days she is such a happy, little person! Everyday she wakes up so excited to explore her world and learn new things. Lately, she has been obsessed with blowing kisses which is how she greets me in the morning and after her naps - so cute! For Valentine's Day this year Joe got her a big stuffed Gorilla that she LOVES she signs gorilla whenever she sees it and then tackles it and gives it lots of hugs and kisses (more pics to come).
